BLACK DEATH
The heroism and sacrifice displayed by the men of the Soviet Naval Infantry won them a reputation as some of the most fearsome and determined fighters of World War II.
They stood firm against the German Blitzkrieg at Moscow, Leningrad and Stalingrad. Launching counterattacks from the sea they made daring amphibious landings in the frozen Arctic Circle, on the Black Sea at Kerch and finally into Germany itself.
The Black Death range includes naval infantrymen in both Summer and Winter uniforms armed with an impressive array of weaponry from Mosin-Nagant rifles and PPSh-41 submachine guns to 76mm ZiS-3 Divisional guns and flamethrowers.
